Be in Scripture with God’s people in an interactive, relational way by participating in Bible studies to learn and help disciple others. The group setting allows believers to share struggles, testify to God’s grace, and share Christian insights. Complementary to worship, these experiences are led by church members and collaborative with other Christians.
How does this vital sign make me a healthy disciple?
Regular, relational study deepens the intimacy we have with God through a better understanding of His Word and a better understanding of the people He dwells in.

How does St. Marcus support my growth in this vital sign?
At St. Marcus, we encourage you to begin a Bible reading plan to get into God’s Word daily and to join one of the Bible study groups that are offered such as a Growth Group, a Men’s or Women’s Group, or a weekend Bible study.

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17

Journeys are made easier when we aren’t alone–when we have someone to talk to, laugh with, cry with, and when burdens are shared. Being a part of a Christian community is an important part of our Journey of Discipleship and Growth Groups are a great way to connect! You’ll dive into Scripture while being surrounded by other Christians in a supportive and prayerful community.

Growth Groups are the heartbeat of community at St. Marcus but other groups also meet to study Scripture, support each other, and grow in relationships. New groups are added frequently.
